What's In This For Me?

Back at school I would like to improve my writing.  I get off topic frequently and have a hard time answering prompts.  Pre-writes help me, but not to the point of "B"s and "A"s on everything.  I would also like to get vocab down pat.  I was barley surviving this first semester.  I wish I would force myself to inherit a better system for myself.
