The reason I am taking this course is because I want to challenge myself to be educated at a higher standard. I took AP English this year, my first AP class, and had a blast doing it. I found it easier with peers that were bent on trying to attain that higher status, that higher grade, that higher education. AP classes, I find, give school a better feel and make me more competitive.
What I am excited about in this coming year is the aspect of technology being intermixed with the course. I know how to do more than most kids when it comes to technology and I feel that I can help classmates when and if they need it.
One of my goals for this coming year is to attain that higher status among my peers. I wish to not be smarter, but to have more respect and give more respect between me and my classmates. I expect to my knowledge of the English language to grow and expand this coming year in ways I do and do not expect. I wish to think in a more critical way and to analyze material in a way that I have never done before.
